Jaqhi Wat'a
Jaqhi Wat'a (Aymara ''jaqhi'' cliff, ''wat'a'' island,〔 see: ''jaqi'' vel ''jaqhi'' and ''isla''〕 "cliff island", hispanicized spelling ''Jaquehuata'') is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about high. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Corani District. Jaqhi Wat'a lies east of the large glaciated area of Rit'ipampa (Quechua for "snow plain"). It is situated at the Anqasi valley and at an affluent of the Qurani River ''(Corani)'' northeast of Pata Anqasi and southeast of Kunkunani.〔 ==References==
